Pastel, a little cafe in a Setiawangsa shop-house.Tacos are also a speciality at Pastel, filled with lamb or beef for RM18 per plate of two.'Texas Burger' with hand-pressed beef patty (RM16); the tacos & burgers come with fries. Perhaps not memorable enough to specifically travel to Setiawangsa for, but probably worthwhile for folks who live or work here.

Our lunch was started with mango salad and tom yam soup. The mango salad was sour due to the green mango and there are some hint of chili padi around it. The mango was crunchy. The tomyam soup was delicious. It was really soup and spicy. It consisted of clams, squid and fish fillet. This dish is a must-order when you dine here. The main dish was the King Rama V fried rice that was...

My first try on the Tokyo Street No.1 Japanese Cheese Tart in Malaysia. Fresh baked upon ordering and they make in a batch. You need to wait 12 minutes in each batch. I love the fresh cheese tart, melt slowly inside my mouth. Crispy fluffy tarts with warm cheese. Totally worth RM 7.90 per piece and the queue to get it. Cool down with refreshing soft serve ice cream. Yummy...

I love both the aroma and the taste. The price range are also affordable.. 😉😉😉 Besides, i would also recommend their settings and also environment. It is so cool

Whenever I see fried carrot cake, I would be super eager to try, mainly because I have had good one nearby where I stay but most often than not, I was welcomed with disappointment due to the wrong texture and/or wrong taste. The fried carrot cake was slightly seared but retained its softness inside. The amount of eggs used was generous and tasted very eggy indeed. It tasted very flavorful, m...

To get a good fried rice, they said the rice must be dry enough, so it won't stick together when you fried them. Yet it must not be too dry until when you eat it, you feel very thirsty. Yuen Buffet Steamboat has a reputation as the bastion of seafood buffet steamboat restaurant.
