Tastebuds Approved! Must Try New Cafes at Kota Kinabalu!
As many travelers love to eat or try new foods in Kota Kinabalu. Going through few hundreds of posts, searching for good food is really not easy. So, here are some of the western food that our Sabahan blogger, Frankie would like to introduce and share about!

1. Socialize Café
Socialize is a new cafe in Kota Kinabalu with good food and good entertainment where people of all interest can come hangout. This place serves juicy Western style pork dishes too! Their signature dish is pork ribs. In addition to the pork dishes, they also serve a variety of burger, pasta and seafood. Where to go? Go Socialize, where people meet!
2. Cafe 5
Hotel N°5 is a new cafe in 3 Stars hotel which is located at Penampang, Sabah. The in-house restaurant Café 5, is a complete dining experience awaits you that offers a range of great food from whetting appetizers to hot-sizzling grills with choices of Malaysian best favorites, tantalizing Japanese fares, fresh juices, and desserts. Apart from that, they do provide breakfast such as Nasi Lemak, American style breakfast and seafood fried noodles!
3. Shoney's Dining & Bar
Shoney’s Dining Bar is a new cafe and hidden at Jalan Gaya, same row with Tong Hing Supermarket. Shoney's Dining & Bar in Kota Kinabalu specializes in Western variety food. Grainfed Sirloin Steak and Seafood Aglio Olio are the signature dishes for Shoney here! The portion is big and good for sharing! Highly recommended for a new dining experience. A good restaurant for you to hang out with your family and friends!
4. Bake Code
Bake Code has two outlets in Kota Kinabalu City (KK), one at ZenQ Lintas Square and another one in City Mall. It has almost 90 types of breads but each tastes so distinctly different from one another. 70% of them are European breads (mainly French and Danish) and all breads are baked daily. Bake Code has a variety types of bread which consist of the soft French bread, Taiwanese bread, French bread and Danish bread. Soft French breads are one of the signature breads for Bake Code. Bake Code definitely has become another favorite gathering place for young people!
