We went to Penang for an event so we stopped by Ipoh for the famous tauge chicken rice. We ordered half a white steamed chicken (RM 29.68) that was so soft and silky. Ipoh is well known for bean sprouts (RM 6.36) that are fat and fresh. I ate every single bean sprout. I always like the bean sprouts in Ipoh.

Then, we also ordered the mixed fish balls (RM 10.60) which were big and bouncy.

The Fried Char Siew (RM 10.60) was quite ok and crispy. I cannot give a fair review on char siew because I am not a fan of pork.

The Hor Fun Soup (RM 2.12) was silky smooth as any Ipoh hor fun.

Every plate of chicken rice costs RM 2.12.

The Gold Plum drink cost about RM 2.
