Signature Dishes
My cousins and I have already planned to have a little trip to Penang during the weekends and we decided to stop by Ipoh to have brunch. Since Ipoh is quite well known for their dim sum, we decided to have dim sum at Sum Kim Aik Dim Sum Restaurant.It was 10.00a.m. when we reached there and most of the dim sum were already sold out. To us 10.00 a.m. was really early and we couldn’t believe that there was not much of variety of dim sum to choose from. We had to order the leftovers and honestly they don’t taste good. Their dim sum were not the traditional ones, instead they were really special and in a way the combination of their ingredients to put together to form one plate of dim sum was rather weird. I didn’t like the taste they do not look appetising to me as well. I wouldn’t come here again.
