We ordered Original Spicy Dak Galbi for 2 pax (RM21 per pax, minimum order of 2 pax) and added on ramen (RM6). Not only the marinated chicken, rice cakes, sweet potatoes and cabbages were placed on the hot plate and cooked together. These two pax portions with ramen were good enough for three persons.

The complimentary side dishes, known as Ban Chan in korean. They were kimchi and soy sauce pickled onions.

The staff are always ready there to cook the Dak-Galbi for you and customers just need to wait until everything is perfectly cooked. For me, the original spicy was good enough unless you enjoy eating spicy foods a lot. In overall, the chicken, rice cakes and sweet potatoes  were nicely cooked and the flavors were adequate but i think it was a bit oily compared to Chun Cheon Dak Galbi. So I prefered to have all the ingredients wrapped with lettuce and garlic.

The kimchi pancake was dissappointing. Obviously, the appearance was not appealing. The kimchi taste was quite flat and it was not crispy. I will not try the pancake if I visit to this restaurant again. The overall dining experience was just an average and not up to my expectation because of the poor ventilation and few choices of complimentary side dishes. I would prefer Chun Cheon Dak Galbi though the price for one pax would be slightly higher than Uncle Jang Korean Restaurant. Based on my past dining experience in Chun Cheon Dak Galbi, they served more delicious Ban Chan and better dining environment.
