This famous penang laksa is located at jalan pasar air itam, near with the kek lok si temple. The location of the laksa is quite obvious as it is located at the side of the road.

There's a long queue when we reach there. Being told by the local this stall have always been crowded with locals and tourists everyday especially weekend and holidays. And im quite shock to know that the laksa is only RM3 for a bowl! You definitely cant find a place that sells this cheap in kl!

Oh ya and THE LAKSA! although it looks like not so well garnish, but the taste is super nice! It is the best laksa i ever had in my 22 years
. The soup is made with mackerel (ikan kembung) and its main distinguishing feature is the asam or tamarind which gives the soup a sour taste. The fish is poached and then flaked. Other ingredients that give Penang laksa its distinctive flavour include lemongrass, galangal (lengkuas) and chilli. Typical garnishes include mint, pineapple slices, thinly sliced onion, 'ha-ko', a thick sweet prawn paste and use of torch ginger. The soup base is very flavorful and filled with generous amount of flaked mackerels.

Oh ya! and beside this laksa stall there's a Lobak stall and a drinks stall. Not bad i would say. Try it out!
