Though I am a Penangite, I rarely scour the restaurants and quaint restaurants in Georgetown, perhaps because I rarely hangout there and family outings usually involve places in Bayan Lepas area since we do not favour jams in town. So I would not have discovered Pik Nik at Nagore Road if not for a school reunion with my ex-classmates there. The savoury waffles are a great change to the normal jam and ice-cream waffles though a a slightly higher price than those jam waffles you get at RM 2 at the malls. These cost RM 16 per plate, at very minuscule sizes.
The salmon and scrambled eggs, and also bacon waffles were quite tasty. I ordered a Waffle Burger which was just two waffles sandwiching some food in between.
I did not taste the coffee since I try to avoid too much coffee at night just in case I could not sleep. But I love the Passionfruit Yoghurt drink, which again for a strictly fussy yoghurt person like me who is sensitive towards yoghurt smell, was actualy tasty though expensive at RM 9 or RM 10.
