Lo Mai Kai

You could also go for the much normal fare when landing at the land of Island of Pearl. There are quiet numerous stall over here that you could find to start your day on a smaller scale such as having a humble plate of Lo Mai Kai, a.k.a Glutinous Chicken Rice. It is steamed in a small roundish bowl while covering with a layer of aluminum foil to retain the heat. Upon request, they would be served upside down on the plate and there you have a nice serving of it. The rice is nicely seasoned with the savory condiments, alongside the tender chicken meat. Slices of mushroom also add some juiciness to it. Best eaten while hot with some chilli paste too
