Shunka Yatai Ryori (Closed)

Went to shopping at First Avenue with friends. Felt hungry and we wanted to find a best place to chit chat and catch up among ourselves. As we walk by the Shunka Restaurant, there were no customer inside and the environment was nice and peace too.We decided to settle down at this restaurant as the restaurant was having promotion and the food was quite cheap. I had ordered the beef set (forgotten the name of the dish).The portion was a little bit too small for me as that time i was very hungry. May due to it was a promotion set. The set was very disappointed. All i remembered was the taste of mayonnaise. The mayo was too much for me. The beef and sauce was covered by mayo. And the set tasted very sweet for me. But i did recommended their "guan dong zhu". The base of the soup was nice and the ingredient was fresh too. continue reading

Shunka is quite new around. The food is mainly about Japanese food and Oden. They provide a varieties of ingredients to choose from just like eating lok-lok. The ingredients will be cooked and then soaked in some soup. We did not order the Oden but ordered one of the rice set. The rice set is a mayo sakana don and come with a soup. Does not like it at all. Expensive yet not tasty at all. Its just rice covered with lot of mayonnaise and the quantity is so limited. Other than that, we ordered a pumpkin koroke.
