Gurney drive is probably the first place that pops up into one's mind when asked where to go for street food in Penang. True to it's claim, the place is packed with hawker stalls selling a variety of street food that you can think possibly think of. The eatery is divided into two sections, one is chinese hawker stalls (muslims might want to becareful and ask first for their ingredients before ordering) and the other is the malay/indian section which is without a doubt halal.
