包装好看,只不过它的味道普普通通。饼干不够香。嗅的时候有味道,吃的时候没有味道(只有凤梨味道)。可以再加油,多加参考。 continue reading

As usual this is the best Pineapple Cake you can find in Penang, it taste even better than some of the famous Pineapple Cake shop in Taiwan. They use fresh pineapple to make their cake and that the reason it doesn't last long. It really delicious and not too sweet, highly recommended to buy as a gift for friends or relatives. By the way, CNY is nearby and it definitely a good gift as well. Call them before visit else you will be disappointed. continue reading

Gartien uses homegrown pineapple for the filling, and instead of puree, the pineapple was diced, textually contrast with the buttery soft pastry. ooh la la.faiiiitit go grab few boxes before they run out of stock. you may book yours HERE!http://www.gartien.com/products-page/ continue reading

For a touch of sweet festivity, Gartien is taking on Chinese New Year with panache, offering their fresh and locally made Pineapple Cakes with a whole new artistic design, making the box of Pineapple Cakes a perfect gift for this auspicious occasion. The beautifully designed gift box comes in red and gold colors with an extra element of the very elegant flower- Peony/ Mudan Flowers (牡丹花) which resembles prosperity as well as adding a festive and welcoming touch. To further adhere to the theme, Chinese Ink Painting of the flowers can also be found on the individual packaging. continue reading

Penang is one of the place which is full of FOODs and being a Penangties, I usually buy tau sah pneah back for my collegues and it is like no surprises or just a normal standard things to buy back. This round, I have something special for them not the usual boring Tau Sah Pneah for each and every round I am coming back to Penang. This round I had Gartien to share with my friends and collegue there.Gartien Pineapple cake is well packed in a classy look where each pack has 10 pieces in abox and it is anytime presentable as gifts or souvenirs. The packing is classy as well as as environmental friendly too where they are using paper boxes which is very nice. Each pieces are well packed and sealed individually in Japanese washi paper in order to preserve its freshness. The best part of it is no preservative is added throughout the process. Because of this, these can only be kept for 1 month at most. The pineapple is well blend with raw sugar and honey to produce the tangy and tasty taste of it with the juicy pineapple taste which is indeed a great combination for the filing. It is then being baked till golden brown and I am just loving the flufiness of the tarts overall. The overall delights is really heavenly. continue reading
