Edelweiss Cafe offers authentic Swiss cuisine in Penang. It is a small cafe restaurant located at Jalan Armenian, Georgetown. It is a great place for friends to catchup.Smoked pork belly served with fresh salad and sausagesThis smoked pork belly tastes like bacon but it is in a big cut of meat. It is juicy and tender, with added smokiness which brings out additional fragrance of the pork belly. The salad is fresh and the sausages are juicy and taste great. It is best served with a pint of beer. continue reading

Edelweiss Cafe is a restaurant servings a very wide range of Swiss cuisines. It's just next to Cheah Kongsi at Armenian Street.Chicken Jumbo Sausage (German-Style) Chicken Jumbo Sausage is in German style which makes people curious since it is a swiss restaurant. Hmmmm...but anyway, the sausage, yes...it is big in portion but it tastes slightly weird. The fries was too dry and I bet they reuse the oil to fried them which cause the fries to be darkish colour. continue reading

it is western style cafe located in George town. The restaurant is being designed with vintage style with a lot of those vintage decorations. we have go there for lunch. we have tried the chicken jumbo sausage and kurt's specialty. the sausage is so thick and long. the tastes is just nice and it is chewy. the kurt's specialty is something like indian style curry chicken served together with rice. the taste is just normal only. continue reading

we stumbled upon this quaint little cafe while we were exploring around Penang heritage trail. what intrigued me was the outlook of this cafe.brownie topped with a scoop of vanilla ice-cream. the texture was alright. but my friends said it was a lil’ too sweet for their liking. i wish the brownie was warmer upon served.banana and peaches poached in a rich butter sauce, topped with almond flakes, choco sprinkles, served with a scoop of vanilla ice-cream.it’s like a wet version of banana boat, fruits submerging in the sauce which was something new to us. everyone prefer this over the brownie. the only complain is, it got really messy after few spoons as the ice-cream melted.pork sausage cheese, ketchup & mustard in a tortilla wrap, with salad as side.in each wrap, there’s two halved juicy and firm sausages, one ordinary and one with mustard. i personally thought the mustard brought out the the smokiness of the sausages.http://constance-ant.com/2012/08/tea-break-edelweiss-cafe-armenian-street-penang/Edelweiss Cafe38, Armenian Street,Georgetown, Penang.(beside Cheah Kongsi)+604 2618935 continue reading
