Signature Dishes
Canton-i I visited is located in Queensbay Mall, Penang. The Hongkong signature prawn wantan noodles tasted nice. I like it very much. For the roast pork char siew rice, the taste of the char siew is very nice and I like the gravy too. The BBQ pork bao is soft and nice to eat. The quality of the food in Canton-i is not bad.

During the Dragon Boat Festival, it is not uncommon for restaurants to promote their glutinous rice dumplings (粽子).This round, Canton-i (alongside its sister chain restaurant Dragon-i) is offering the Glutinous Rice Dumpling With Red Beans (红豆紫米粽) for RM8.00. Each serving is usually sufficient for one or two persons.When Canton-i serves a seasonal dish, it really goes through great lengths to ensure perfection. I like the appealing texture of the glutinous rice when I sink my teeth into it. In addition, the red beans are nicely cooked such that they are sufficiently soft, starchy and sweet.For drinks, we ordered a couple of cups of Hong Kong Tea With Milk (港式奶茶, RM5.50) and a glass of iced Hawaiian Coffee (檀岛咖啡, RM5.50).We also tried the Barley Beancurd Skin With Ginkgo And Quail Egg Soup (白果腐竹鹌鹑蛋糖水, RM8.00). It is quite nice and not easy to find elsewhere.

The wantan are all very chewy as they used a lot of prawns as the fillings i think.

Canton-i 香港粥麵家 is a Hong Kong style restaurant that serves great Hong Kong style cuisine. It is located in Queensbay Mall, Persiaran Bayan Indah, Bayan Lepas, Penang.Wanton noodles with roasted duckWanton noodles is my all-time favourite cantonese style breakfast. The roasted duck is tasty and the skin is crispy. The portion of the roasted duck is quite generous. The noodles is cooked just right - not too firm or too soft. This wanton noodles with roasted duck is best eaten with pickled chilli.

除了蛋塔以外，另一个我很喜欢在Canton-i 香港粥麵家点的食物就是炸猪肠粉。这道食物很特别，厨师把普通的猪肠粉炸好，再上桌。所以除了那一般好吃的猪肠粉以外，还多了一份香脆的外皮。这真的很特别。
