I believe Fei Fei Crab is not new to you. Yes, they are famous for crab, yet the restaurant name already tell you so. But I did not get a chance to try this untill today. My Kepong friend who brought me here today. It is is a Sunday, therefore I have expected the crowd is there. Luckily I manage to get a table upon reaching. Hooray! Do not need to wait! While browsing through the menu, I notice that the selection of dishes are limited. Of course, the main highlight is the crab.They have more choices in term of the flavours such as Cheese, Honey Lemon, Kam Heong, Sweet corn & etc. Among all the flavours, I would still prefer the classic one which is Salted egg and Sweet and Sour.They do serve Pork Ribs as well. But I opt for Sweet & Sour Pork instead. As for vegetable, I have ordered Stir fried Spinach.Eventhough the restaurant was crowded, they speed of serving food would never fail to deliver. Very impressive! The first dish to serve is Sweet & Sour Pork (RM15), the sweetness is just right for me. Unfortunately, pineapple is not inside the dish. Nowadays, this dish no longer cook with the pineapple anymore.
Next is Stir fried vegetable (RM15). Nothing much to comment, is just an ordinary vegetable.
Prawn cooked in Italian Style (RM30), this dish is recommended by the lady whom is the order taker. Prawn was deep fried to reach the crispyness then coated with thick rich sauce. The taste of the sauce is very special, I guess is mayonaise with Italian Herb, which is flavourful yet aromatic because of the herbs.
Next, is the star tonight. I have ordered 2 different sizes of crab- Standard size(RM45) and Large size (RM78) to cooked in Salted egg and Sweet & Sour respectively. I savoured the Sweet & Sour Crab first, the sauce is delicious. The balance of sweetness and Sourish that I can describe. As for the Salted Egg crab, it is delicious too. The crab was generously coated with Salted Egg. You even can get bite of the salted eggs too. I a bit regretted to order the standard size crab as the large size crab would have more flesh then. hmhm....
Meantime, I have also order the Deep Fried man tou just to eat with the Sweet & Sour sauce. It goes well with the sauce.
Apart from that, the lady also recommend us to try their Steam Patin Fish at RM60 promotion price. I do not eat fish therefore I have no comment about the taste of it. According to my friend, it is very fresh.
Overall, I'm quite happy with the dishes especially the crab. I definitely will go back again to try the ribs and of course other flavour of crabs. Thumbs up!!
