Another equally good vegetarian dishes from this temple would be this vegetarian fish, cooked in sweet and sour sauce. I always love this vegetarian variety for it is zesty and tastes great too, albeit not the real fish meat. It is made mainly from soya bean source where you would see a compact form of fu chok, wrapped nicely with seaweed.Usually this mock fish is pan-fried, as the bean source is already cooked by the way, then is doused with the sweet and sour source before it is dished out. Usually this mock fish is pan-fried, as the bean source is already cooked by the way, then is doused with the sweet and sour source before it is dished out. And the vegetarian fish has done a good job too by absorbing the savory taste of the sauce
