Toast and Roast sell the most succulent char siew in town :bow:chopstick:l:, according to my friend who was strongly recommended it to me. i had order and try Char Siew Rice There are only a few pieces of char siew only. Though they are quite thick. The rice is just plain white rice and there are few cuts of cucumber. There are 2 type of sauce to go with it, but honestly, to me, both tasted more or less the same, sweet caramelize char siew taste. Upon trying the char siew, the feeling is contrad

The outer layer is slightly crispy, and the inner layer is so soft. It is so soft that I cant differentiate the fat and the meat. Not really like the texture, but I am so into the strong char siew flavor.
