The sweet and sour abalone mushroom in Chin Swee Vegetarian Restaurant reminded me of Wonderland in Niche Vegetarian Restaurant. The abalone mushroom is dipped in batter before being deep-fried to golden perfection, and served on a base of mixed tomato and chilli sauce. I thought that the batter was a bit too thick, hence it was slightly harder than most on the teeth, but it was still acceptable.
