The spider roll is actually soft shell crab wrapped in seaweed and sushi rice lightly coated with fish roe. Then a slice of avocado for the topping and finished with cheesy mayonnaise mixed with cod roe. Yummylicious. It really tasted as good as it looks. The crab is crunchy and has a distinctive fragrant flavour from the deep frying. The avocado is buttery and really binds well with the mayonnaise which gave it a sweet tangy taste. Really appetizing.
