Restaurant Nyuk Min is located at the busy square of SS2, facing the main road. I visited this restaurant on a Saturday, which was not very packed. I ordered the sotong butter rice, and after 15 minutes or so, the dish was served. First thing I noticed about this dish was that the butter gravy was very diluted. I ordered the sotong butter rice, and after 15 minutes or so, the dish was served. First thing I noticed about this dish was that the butter gravy was very diluted. Good thing was that there are ample amount to be eaten with their white rice. The sotong was deep fried before hand and then only cooked with the butter gravy. The gravy was not salted very well, although there is a strong flavour of butter and curry leaves. The sotong was not very fresh, as I could taste that it was not very chewy anymore. For RM6.30, it is reasonably priced but I find that it is not very tasty.
