This time, we stopped at Sopoong Korean Food at Times Square, KL. It is one of the latest additions to the mall after its recent renovation at the Lower Ground.
To start our meal, we ordered Green Tea and Korean Jujube Tea. I personally prefer the latter as it is full of nourishment with the red dates and honey together in the mixture. It have a mild natural sweetness and simply enticing. By the way, do you that dates are good for promoting blood circulation? ^_^ While waiting for our main meal, we were served with Banchan. Literally translated, they were side dishes in Korean^^. There were assortments of caramelized anchovies, homemade salads and not forgetting the staple; Kimchi, of course! ^^ Love their crispy sweet anchovy and also their refreshing crunchy salad mixtures. I have always been intrigued by their light but savory dressing… Masshiso-seyo!
Soon, our menu arrived.
Korean set menu of Gimdap and Ramyun. Noodles were springy with tad-spicy soup. Nicely flavored in fact! ^^ As for the rice roll, it was pleasantly laid in flower design with various fillings intact like omelets, carrots, sausages, cucumber and some radish pickles. Dip with some soya sauce and there you go, Yummy !! Worrying that tummy might not be fully satisfied for the night, so Bibimbap and Pajeon were welcomed to join There was this big sunshine egg on the top with myriad of vegetables such as spinach, carrot, mushroom and many more. Before you eat it, remember to mix the whole bowl evenly with its gochujang sauce till each grained was adequately absorbed. . As for the Korean pancake, you could either eat it as it is or dipped with the accompanied sauce Why not call your buddies along and loved ones to share the joy around the table? ^_^
