Spent a couple of months in Hong Kong and was a big fan of Hui Lau Shan there. When I saw that they were going to open a branch here in Malaysia, I was estatic. When they first opened, I went to pay them a visit. I ordered my favourite glutinous rice balls in mango juice with extra mango. A mouthful of words for a mouthful of mango goodness. When they first opened, I went to pay them a visit. I ordered my favourite glutinous rice balls in mango juice with extra mango. A mouthful of words for a mouthful of mango goodness. The bowl was filled to the brim with mango puree, diced mangoes, a scoop of mango ice-cream and some really nice and chewy glutinous rice balls, not unlike the tong yuen that we can find here. The entire concoction was a mango mania goodness, definitely a thumbs-up!
