Time to put up our napkin to begin our porky feast First to greet us is the famous Pork Steak. It’s a piece of grilled pork steak, that is served with fresh vegetables, potatoes and also mushroom cream.
The thing that amused me the most is the accompanied mushroom sauce. It’s bit thick and milky, that resembles the Mushroom Ragout Cream that I have at Café Taka. Needless to say, the cream is oozingly good and creamy! No wonder it’s to be paired with the pork steak due to its drier texture since it’s char-grilled. So this would be a brilliant combination. The pork steak is actually bit healthy I would say, though bit coarse as it mainly consist of the lean part, where you hardly come across any fatty layers in between. That’s really good for I need not go through the hassle to remove them, hehe. The meat is chewy though bit solid, but good to go with the fragrant sinful sauce of the ragout. You also get to enjoy the slices of assorted mushroom in it too, yumm!
