According to my friend, Jackie, this branch of E Soo Yong Tau Fu is always packed all day. Since he recommended this place a couple of times, we had our farewell dinner for one of our mutual friends here.Located at the corner of shoplots, this restaurant was found easily by the bf. Located at the corner of shoplots, this restaurant was found easily by the bf. Settled down and we were given a menu. Menu is double-sided; one page shows yong tau fu on one page and savoury dishes on the opposite side. Savoury dishes that are offered here include sambal fish, prawns, different varieties of vegetables etc.
The yong tau fu items that we ordered comprised of fried brinjal, bittergourd, fried fu chuk, dumpling, lady’s finger, tofu with fishball and fried tau fu pok. I think we might have over ordered because we didn't expect the fried fu chok to be big pieces. Oh, they were oily too :| The soup was very tasty but slightly salty.
Still, the 7 of us managed to finish everything! RM75 inclusive of drinks.
