Most ramen are served with pork based broth, but not a big pork fan myself, I was so happy and delighted that I managed to find a chicken based broth ramen in Avenue K! Easily accessible via train, we were really eager to try. Just a point to note though, even though it offers chicken based broth, it does serve pork as well. There were four of us and we ordered their signature Tamago Ramen, Zenbu Ramen and Aka ramen. We also added the Yaki Char Siew. The broth was really scrumptious and flavourfu
There were four of us and we ordered their signature Tamago Ramen, Zenbu Ramen and Aka ramen. We also added the Yaki Char Siew. The broth was really scrumptious and flavourful. Compared to the normal pork based soup, this is less oily for my taste bud. It was so tasty that we almost finish all the soup. Not to forget the high amount of collagen especially for girls!
If you’re an egg lover like me, do not forget to add on the marinated eggs also known as Ajitsuke Tamago. Cost us about RM 2.00 each. Yes, it is expensive but worth every penny of it. The perfectly marinated and runny egg yolks, heavens. The Yaki Char Siew was pretty good too. They provided lemon slice to for you to squeeze on the char siew making the meat so juicy that it melts in our mouth literally. This is a must try!
It may be a little pricey for lunch though, hence the waiting time is pretty short for us. We managed to secure a table within minutes of arriving.
