Whenever I first visit a new Korean restaurant, I will usually try Kimchi Jigae as this is their obligatory signature dish that they should do well. A good kimchi jigae should have rich, spicy and pungent broth from well fermented kimchi. Inside the broth is kimchi, meat, tofu, glass noodles, spring onions and some minced garlic. The broth taste just average, had just the amount of flavour from the kimchi. I have had better than this for example Da Sa Rang at SS15 Subang Jaya.
