I think we are all pretty innovative these days, to the extent of bringing our innovative self into the food and beverage industry. Stir Fry Dry Asam Laksa, I bet some of you may not have heard or even try any of it.

For those of you who have never been, this restaurant is located in Subang Jaya, Seksyen 14 not too far away from the famous Taylors College and Metropolitan College. The dry asam laksa comes with the normal laksa ingredients one can find in a soup asam laksa, i.e. onions, pineapples, cucumbers, peppermint leaves and of course the laksa noodles (lai fun).

In our opinion, it was quite special. The stir fry method makes the noodles more fragrant with the taste of prawn paste. We all love the fry laksa despite the lacking of one of the main ingredient, the fish chunks. We tried their other options on the menu as well, stir fry mee jawa and popiah. The mee jawa was quite good as well, but the popiah was a let-down. The popiah skin was so soggy, and the filling wasn’t fragrant enough. We can find better popiahs at our regular night market.

Just a hint though, the portion was pretty small. Not a viable option to share among friends unless you aren’t a stir fry food lover like myself!
