I opted for their small size chicken katsudon, even though it stated small size but the portion is considered quite big for me! The rice came with a huge piece of deep-fried chicken cutlet, drizzled with pickle onions, seaweeds and topped with an onsen egg. The sauce was sweet and savory, it went so well with the rice. However, the chicken cutlet was a bit soggy, it would be better if the chicken cutlet is served hot and crispy.
Consider the price and the generous portion, this dish still worth a try!

Their spicy kaisen ramen came with rich broth and various kinds of seafood, including fresh prawn, scallop, and squid. Simply love the mild spicy broth; it was definitely the highlight of the dish. The spiciness was just right, not the provoke kind which set fire on your taste bud, even people like me who don’t like spicy food was able to have a few spoonful of the broth.
How can we miss out sushi when we visit a Japanese restaurant?

We went for their Hokoda set which consisted of cucumber rolls, tamago(egg), eel fish, raw salmon, Inari( fried tofu pocket), cuttlefish, fresh prawn and scallop! The taste was average, nothing really surprise me though.
Initially we were afraid that the restaurant might be overprice given its name(Hokkaido) but surprisingly the price was really affordable, it can be considered as quite a good deal if you are craving for Japanese cuisine. Overall, except that the soggy chicken cutlet and the air condition was too weak, everything was good!
