Yep, you guessed it right.. this is the type of bun that's hugely popular in Hong Kong. "Po Lo" actually means pineapple in Cantonese language. No, it's not actually a pineapple bun with pineapple fillings. BUT yes, it does actually look like the imprints of the pineapple thorny skin. Just the look of it. Because the skin top of the bun is super crusted and flaky. But it's actually plain butter sugary bun. I love it though
