This restaurant which is located in an inconspicuous alley off the main road really does not look all that inviting. There is a door at the entrance which was shut all the time and from the external view, this does not help at all.

But the place has managed to gain a reputation for good Hakka cuisine, their signature being the fried rice sticks noodle. Today I want to review their Homemade Fried Beancurd which I think is quite tasty too. The beancurd is cut in half into triangular shapes and dipped in batter before being deep fried. Usually I am not keen for fried dishes if they are too oily but they managed to dry most of the oil off or they did an exceedingly good job in making it less oily.

And the beancurd was still soft inside so it was such a good feeling biting into each piece. Dip them in the chilli sauce they serve and it completes a great meal. I think the batter they made for the beancurd tastes like five spice powder but not salty.
