I have to admit - I wasn't expecting a good meal. Set lunch, limited restaurants in the area - that's usually a warning sign that lunch was going to be both mediocre and overpriced. How wrong was I.The beef brisket, despite being so lean, was so extremely tender and flaky. Served atop beautiful fluffy mash and an assortment of vegetables, it was really very, very good. How wrong was I.The beef brisket, despite being so lean, was so extremely tender and flaky. Served atop beautiful fluffy mash and an assortment of vegetables, it was really very, very good. Beef and gravy were salty, and the vegetables were light and fresh - a very good balance. Mash was there for that much-needed balance of starch.
