Gangnam 88 makes its presence somewhere end of 2012 and has since sparked tremendous interest among the Korean foodies. It is always that jam-packed whenever patronizing by. Upon entering the door, we are greeted amiably by one young Korean chap-believed to be one of the crew. After some 10 minutes waiting, finally we got our sitting in a quaint corner with top ceiling wall being decorated with built-in book shelves. Unique and space-friendly indeed. There are also some displays of colorful caps
This is the first dish to greet us on the table, together with the rest of the delectable ban chan. A simple and wholesome soup that comes with several ingredients like bean curd, onions, pork stripes, spring onions, lots chillies but not spicy, and not forgetting Kimchi itself. It is actually not very spicy but rather appetizing, so those foodies with butter tongue should be able to handle it In order to keep it warm, the thoughtful crew lighted up this whitish coal which could be easily mistaken for rock salt!
