Grand Harbour is the latest Chinese Restaurant added to Fahrenheit 88 mall. It serves Dim Sum as well as main courses with distinct Shanghai and Hong Kong influences. Auspicious Yee Sang to start our dinner with. Their version is decent with plenty of Salmon slices, and enough fresh vegetables to make it healthy. The sauce has the right balance of sweet and sour. Grand Harbour aims to target the young people with their extra creative touches on their dim sum. Take these "Sparrow" shrimp dumplings adorned with Quail eggs for example. Doesn't that warrant a plus 10 for effort?
Love the presentation of these Pan fried dumplings too.
This was my favourite of the night. The steamed pork buns were fried to a crisp at the bottom. The filling was tasty and contained enough flavourful broth. Delicious.
The Char Siew Pastry was pretty decent, although pales in comparison to the other dishes.
Soy sauce chicken was done well, this would be great with rice.
I enjoyed these interesting translucent noodles, which have a bit of bite.
Some stir fried Chinese Chives for the green lover (ie me). Crunchy vegetables always get my approval. The sweet stuff (and cuter ones too) to be separated into another post.
