Surprisingly, it doesn’t exudes any major smell that most dreaded by people in general unable to tolerate the aroma of this fruit. But when you sink your teeth on it, the cake is quite soft and spongy too. It is full of the durian flavor decently but not too overpowering, along with the creamy layering fresh cream in between. So I guess even our expatriate friend might be able to give it a try too
