Not one to turn down dessert, so when wifey suggested that we have some ice-cream after our sushi meal, I immediately agreed. On top of that, we got a RM1 voucher from Sushi Zanmai to patron the Hokkaido Ice Cream shop which is just within ten steps from Sushi Zanmai. The price for two scoops with a waffle bowl is priced at RM9.35, so with the RM1 voucher, we only paid RM8.35. Yaay! We went to the bar to choose our flavours. We took our bowl of treasure and sat at spaces provided to slowly savour the delightful dessert. Eating the melon ice-cream reminds me of having icy sweet melon pieces, except that it melts in the mouth. It was very fragrant, full of melon-y flavour. The peach ice-cream is slightly sour by comparison, but it definitely cleansed the palate very well. Both ic-creams were light, as we didn't really want to have too milky or creamy type of flavours right after a huge meal. The waffle bowl was obviously edible, though it was nothing to shout about. It was not too tooth-breakingly hard as I thought it would be. Slightly soft actually, like it has been made very much earlier. Wifey said that it was very nice though. There were about 6 small tables there, with lots of comfy sofa-like seats. A good place to hang around and do some people-watching as well. From our vantage point, we can see the floor below us, people enjoying Tong Pak Fu.

Each table had a menu on it. So, while we were enjoying the ice-creams, I curiously browsed through and to my surprise, there were many more choices of parfait that were offered. I didn't know that they offer more than just "naked" ice-creams. I must go there again to sample those parfaits as they look superbly tempting.
