Pun Choi is a seasonal dish that will be served during chinese new year. This dish also carry the means of prosperity in most of the chinese population.
Took pun choi in Dragon I, Pavilion during chinese new year with colleagues, the price is slightly expensive and normally it should be served in a big ceramic pot. NOT a steamboat pot. They claimed that only smaller pun choi has ceramic pot so well, sad.
Talking about the taste, everything is well braised. But it is not really thick broth they have. Personally I do prefer a thick sauce in braised dishes.
I will think twice if i were to go back for a 'prosperity' pun choi.
