Signature Dishes
Everytime when i visited genting i love to have the tendency of having visiting Gotong Jaya to have Dai chao over there, though it is more expensive than in Kuala Lumpur but generally the cost is still bearable for me. Finding a parking here is not a hard one, and seating is not a big problem too as it is very rare to see lots of people in one place. I ordered the Dai chao and it is quite good to have, very strong in its flavor

Egg TartThis egg tart would be much more common than its other peers variety. With similar non-fluffy pastry skin and smooth yellow egg custard embedded in the middle, it still make a decent snack. However, it’s bit too dry to me and I find myself enjoying the durian tarts more for its acrid flavor of the fruit. Thus, it may overpower the egg tarts in this way, hehe.

When I travel to Genting Highland, I always stop by Gohtong Jaya for lunch or tea time.This is one of my favorite, it is actually a chinese restaurant but for me they are famous for their durian desserts.You can easily recognise this shop with the huge durian banner.durian bomb, fried pastry with durian paste in it.I saw a lt people buy this in dozen.my favorite is this durian pancake, serve cold. love the texture as it come in few different layers. very nice for afternoon tea!!!
