Watami is a restaurant which have lots of choices to dine for and it is a great place for families and friends too.If you love some sashimi, Salmon Sashimi Don is one if the dish with the fresh salmon with it.There are about 6-8 pieces of fresh salmon which is served together with it. Kani Kamameshi is one of my favorites. The delighting Crab Meat Pot Rice is one of my favorites and it is recommended to be served after 20 minutes. The portion is good enough for one where the bowl of delights are being served with fresh crab stick, crab meat, shamiji mushrooms, burdock and mushroom. I love the soft rice texture with the nice fragrance of it.Price: RM 24.90

If you are a beef lover, never missed their wafu touban gyu steak whcih is indeed delicious with tender meat. The beef short ribs are being grilled on your own with the small little bbq pans together with sweet potato and pumpkin together. It is being served together with the delighting ponzu and ginger sauce with it. With this, the delights will be getting more delicious with the sauce together as well as the tender juicy meat.Price: RM 27.90

这也是我觉得这里可以尝试的料理之一。杆得非常薄的饼皮上面放上了丰富的配料。颜色首先就让人食指大动,上面要有要命的美乃滋。为整体增添了顺滑的口感。反而让上面的牛肉片有点失色了。

看看那些肥美的牛肉片,我真想那汤头快点儿煮熟好让我可以大快朵颐。立面的配料很丰富。香菇,泡菜,豆腐,萝卜,青菜等等。汤头喝起来很清甜。牛肉稍微刷几秒就行了不然就会太老了。

对我来说,判断一间日本餐厅有没有诚意有没有水准呢,我会选择点一些基本的东西。就好像三文鱼。这里的三文鱼厚度不错,厚度刚好,肉色呈现鲜橙色,单用眼睛判断就知道这是新鲜无比的三文鱼肉。

As usual, a cup of Hot Green Tea would be the best drink to go along with Japanese cuisine. Don had Iced Green Tea instead, and both were refillable.

Thanks to Don for ordering their Zaru Soba, which is literally cold soba, it was exactly when I changed my impression on soba. Since young, I used to consider it as a weird dish with funny taste and I dared not try it, only to realize that I was totally wrong all the while. Dip the soba into the sauce and eat it right away, I'm sure you will be amazed by such delicacy.

According to him, as I never eat sashimi, the Salmon Sushi Don was a "thumbs up", while I would only prefer their Tamago Yaki, the egg rolls on the side.

I had my Eel Pot Rice, or Unagi Kamameshi, with an additional Fresh Egg. I loved it, although the process was threatening. I have mentioned that I was in hunger before settling down at Watami Japanese Casual Restaurant. When I placed my order, I was informed that I had to wait for 3 minutes before I could start eating my food, and I agreed. Apparently, the time I had to wait for my meal to be cooked was way more than merely 3 minutes! I felt cheated.

Still, it is recommendable if you do not mind having sticky rice, which is my favorite of all time. I did not regret adding the Fresh Egg right before it was completely cooked. The great smell of egg was just irresistible!

Priced at approximately RM41.50 per person, it had burnt a hole in his wallet. Despite so, I will still be sure to return occasionally. Ah, their Zaru Soba!

Beef Sukiyaki. I ordered a pot of sukiyaki and it came with Chinese black mushrooms, needle mushrooms, beancurd, carrots, cabbages and beef slices. I like it when the raw beef was being put on top and I get to swish swish the beef slices in the hot broth. The beef slices were thin and tender. The broth was flavourful and sweet. The ingredients were fresh. I enjoyed this.

Kaisen Yaki Don – stir fried udon with seafood. It came with clams, red and green capsicum, cabbage, squid and prawns. The udon was topped with bonito flakes that gave it a little bit of saltiness. The udon was springy and sweet. The seafood was fresh and the amount was a lot too. The service of this restaurant was not really good, the waiters should be more attentive next time.

Tokyo Gyudon – beef rice bowl with hot spring egg in Tokyo style. The beef rice bowl came with a hot spring egg (Tokyo style), sprinkled with some sesame. There was a little bit of pickles too, it was crunchy and slightly sour. The beef was thinly sliced and the amount was a lot. It was tender and strong sweet beef taste, which I love. The egg yolk gave the rice bowl some moisture. I love the whole combination; it was sweet and not overly salty. Definitely a recommended dish.

来到日式餐厅不一定要点日本菜? 我们就点了也是这餐厅之一的招牌菜 – wafu burger! 上桌的外观很不错,但是那牛肉就欠了少许,比较难嚼一点。这wafu burger旁的薯条竟然是由番薯炸成的。虽然很特别,咬起来也很脆,但我还是比较喜欢马铃薯弄成的薯条。
