Anyone who knows me, knows that I take spicy food really well, like it's not spicy at all. Waroeng Iga's grilled shortribs is a different story, though. The sambal is spicy. And I mean REALLY spicy. The beef was flaky, but not very tender, so it got in my teeth a lot; but the flavour was strong and sweet. I dipped mine into kicap manis, which I felt made it better. I had mine with no rice, so all the spiciness really hit me fully.
