One of the Tong Kee Brother Confectionery is located at Damansara uptown. It is one of the famous bakery shop in Petaling Jaya where they specialize on egg tart. Chicken Pie. Ever since my mother found out there is a Tong Kee branch in uptown, every time we are around that area, she will drop by and walk in to buy something. That day, it was no exception. Apart from the egg tart that she bought, she bought this chicken pie too. She commented that the chicken pie has a different shape than last time. The chicken pie was dry and the taste was not strong as last time.

tong kee is famous of their crispy egg tart when coming here to damansara utama i will buy the egg tart and also the pie and other pastries. this chicken pie is really good and nice taste of the crispy outer layer of the pie. all their pastries looks delicious and mouth watering i will just pack some for my family for tea break during the weekends. and here they make daily fresh item

tong kee is famous of their egg tart. bought this 4 pieces of egg tart from tong kee on the wat to damansara visiting a friend. here have outlet and i try the egg tart. very smooth texture and delicious. they are smaller portion but yet every pieces the egg tarts outer layer is so soft and crispy. their service is very fast too they make fresh egg tart daily and many people queue to buy this

Bread with nuts. Since we were slightly bored with the usual white bread sold in the supermarket, we went into Tong Kee and bought a loaf of bread, not the conventional white one but the bread with nuts. The bread skin was quite tough, so I cut it off. The nuts were quite a big pieces and gave the bread a crunchy texture to chew on. It tasted salty by itself, but I put some butter to eat with it.

Blueberry Bread. That day, my mother wanted to buy a loaf of bread from bakery so we dropped by this bakery on the way. She chose this Blueberry bread. The bread was baked with some sesame on top of the bread skin. These sesame gave the bread a salty flavour, which was a bit weird to me. The blueberry paste in between the bread was slightly sweet but lacked of blueberry taste.

Soft Cheese Cake. Since Tong Kee opens its bakery shop, we tempted to try other stuffs apart from their signature egg tart. We bought this soft cheese cake to try. It was being packaged in a rectangular box. The cake was soft and with a little hint of cheese flavour. It was not too sweet. The cheese flavour was too light. I am heavy-cheese cake eater, so this was not my cup of tea.

Kaya puff. 棠记除了出名蛋塔外，我也买了加亚饼。它的皮烘得很巧克力色，闪闪发亮的一层油，也很脆。它里面的加亚很厚，味道也很香，但不会太甜。棠记很会拿捏顾客的品味，不会弄得超甜。

Egg Tart. 棠记得蛋塔吉克族是出了名的。我每一次经过都会买一粒回家吃。它的皮是脆脆的， 每一层都松松的， 非常好吃。 它不会太甜， 刚刚好。 它的蛋滑溜溜，软软的。下一次我会买一打回家。

This is a famous chinese bakery house we all know. The Tong Kee was popular especially for its egg tarts. In this shop, it sells more than egg tarts. There are cakes, breads, puffs, and pies. The choices are aplenty. I wanted to reminisce the good old days when we used to buy Tong Kee egg tart. However, i am quite disappointed that the same old flavors is not there anymore. What i am tasting is more commercialized, more machine taste. The aroma of the egg tart was no longer there.

Tong Kee is a full-fledged bakery serving all kinds of pastries, breads and cakes. But.. I only have eyes for their Egg Tarts. Seriously! Everytime I chance upon a Tong Kee Bakery, I go in and buy their egg tarts. Sometimes I buy their other products too but nothing comes close to their egg tarts. It's their signature product and no doubt perhaps the best in KL Smooth, buttery, flaky, not too sweet and totally melts in my mouth. Yums A lot of office crowd here, being at the Damansara area.

这款蛋糕是我屋主最爱买的。每次她有去uptown办事几乎都会买一个回来吃。这蛋糕外形很漂亮也不会太贵。30多块就买到一整个了。可以买来庆祝少人数的生日派对。棠记的蛋糕就不用担心了，它的口感顺滑，奶油也不会腻。画花的奶油整颗吃掉也没问题。

只要是有坚果的面包，一定是我的首选。这面包拿起来挺有重量，包装简易，只印上棠记的商标。塑料袋一打开，立即散发淡淡的奶香。里头装满核桃和提子，份量十足，每口咬下都可以吃得到。面包口感较为松软，添加的葡萄干，让面包吃起来比较湿润。
