Ibought a voucher from Groupon to celebrate Diwali eve with my boyfriend, sisterand friend's family at Rolling Pin, Sri Hartamas (Plaza Damas). I get RM 50 forRM 150 cash value for all foods & beverages. We called them 1 day inadvance to make a reservation as instructed in the voucher. They serve varietyof Indian, Pakistani, Japanese, Thai, and Chinese meals for the customers.Couple of people occupied the restaurant when we arrived at 7pm. The ambianceof the restaurant was cozy and good. We ordered Lamb Briyani, VegetableBriyani, Non-Veg Platter, Assorted Bread Basket, Dhal Makhani and Rasmalai. Complimentary Papadum. Papadums are pan fried which is total opposite to the normal deep fry version. Healthy!!Just dip them in the Mint Chutney and enjoy. Mint Chutney is fresh and it has a good hint of spicy taste.Tender and juicy chicken is irresistible with that fragment smoky flavour. Non Veg Platter includes of Prawn, Fish, Chicken & Kebab (3 pieces each) Non Veg Platter @ RM 72Naan choices are fixed and you cannot choose your own flavour. It tasted okay. It does not have a rich flavour and it just tasted plain to me. Assorted Bread Basket @ RM 16 Dhal Makhani (Special Request) was good to eat with Naan. Lamb Briyani was tasty. Mix them together while it is still hot, to have a balance flavour together. Lamb Briyani @RM 38 Vegetable Briyani was okay as in my opinion it does not has rich spices flavour in their Briyani. Vegetable Briyani @RM 32Rasmalai (Special Request) was simply delicious. It was not too sweet, spongy and soft. It changes texture when you put it in the mouth. It wasa nice Deepavali eve celebration for us. The foods are good but they need someimprovement in certain dishes, friendly service and very valuable deal forVoucher. "The food is outstanding, plentiful and very reasonably priced. The staff are always very attentive and happy to see our children. The daily lunch buffet is one of the best bargains in town and the dinner menu has a marvelous variety of Indian favorites" must visit for all and do not forget to ask for "Indias Most Famous Butter chicken".
