The RED BeanbagEggs Benedict Eggs Atlantic Salmon The Red Beanbag is a modern contemporary Australian-inspired cafe, located just behind the big stage in front of Publika's entrance. The food at Red Beanbag is primarily Western, with a touch of Italian and Australian. It's also one of the best pasta dish I've had in KL. Baked eggs with sun-dried tomatoes. A molten-hot, mushy marvel; we recommend requesting a side serving of lamb bratwurst for extra meatiness.

My friend and I went to The red beanbag in Mont Kiara. We ordered the Baked Eggs for our meal. Inside the bowl there was eggs, potatoes, tomatoes, cheese, lamb and bratwurst. They give 2 slices of bread to go with this dish but the 2 slices of bread was so small that it was not enough to go with the egg. But overall it was delicious.

My Crustacean Cousin

I don't often order anything with seafood but for some reason the name of the dish had caught my attention. Seeing the pasta is made in house I was keen to try this out. Not only it's aesthetically pleasing, it's also one of the best pasta dish I've had in KL (granted, most of them don't even make their own pasta and often overcook too). The seafood was abundant and fresh. I especially loved the how they cooked the scallops just right and also the pipis were full of flavours. The only let down is that the Tiger prawns were slightly overcooked and I suspected they weren't the freshest. The pasta was also pleasantly flavoured (seafood, of course). For about RM28, it's definitely worth your money.

The coffee here reminds me of Melbourne, which is no surprise since this whole cafe is inspired by Australia anyway. Perfect to lift up my mood!

We'll definitely be back here for the breakfast menu, can't wait to try out their Poached eggs with Salmon!

The bread was alittle dry to my liking. They could have butter it up in the inside instead of serving it fresh. Beef millet was cooked to medium well - juicy, naturally flavored, the only thing I would complain was the thin slices of millets they put in it and Oh! I want CHEESE.

One of my colleagues ordered their Traditional Beef Burger, which I found it not bad too.

Personally I would prefer chunkier beef patty. This was rather minced up! Flavor wise, it was peppery, should go well with mustards

Before we left, we tried their latte too.

What intrigued us most was the beer face on the latte. Don't you think it is adorable
My colleague even commented that "this beer looks sad..."
The coffee tasted better than Starbucks, this is for sure. Oh, cheaper too!
