Mushroom soup was served, it was very creamy and strong cheese flavor with slice of mushroom inside the soup. This is the second best mushroom soup I ever have, the best I ate before was at BJ Italian shop but sadly that shop has close down.  The platter was served in big square silver shiny square plate, inside the platter it does include the Alaskan Snow Crab, Fried Oyster, Fried Calamari, Signature dish Flaming Prawn with sides of broccoli, carrots, corns over a bed of famous Garlic Herb Rice and Chips, on top of that 2 mushroom soup and 2 ice lemon tea is included. As usual a nice flaming action will be carry out to heat up the prawn next to your table before serving, burning aroma is so attractive and make the food even better.

 Underneath the seafood is Garlic Herb Rice and Chips, a lot of Chips. Sadly the portion is way too big for two persons hence we wasted almost all the chips, the chips is actually very tasty compare to McD.

The two of us wanted something easier to share, so we summoned for the Fried Giant Platter (RM55.90). Just as the dish is served, the waiter used a blowtorch to "heat up" the food. I think this is just a novelty marketing ploy as the food is already properly cooked. Besides, I dislike the smell of propane in an air-conditioned environment.

The Fried Giant Platter comes with several types of deep-fried ingredients: Calamari (squid), Shrimps, Fish Fingers, Mushrooms and Fries; served over a layer of Garlic Herb Rice.

The Condiments provided are Hot Pepper Sauce, Garlic and Mayonnaise. As this dish can be quite dehydrating, feel free to ask for extra Lemon Slices to drench the food and add some flavor.

Although the Fried Giant Platter is giant indeed, it isn't all that special. The batter is too oily and dry, so it gets unappetizing beyond the first few bytes.

For drinks, we ordered a Vanilla Milkshake (RM9.90) and a glass of Cappuccino (RM7.90). Both are not particularly special.

Grilled Dory Fish

Usually when patronizing Manhattan Fish Market, I would go for its famous Fish N Chips. But this time round, thinking to give its other menu a try, thus call for their Grilled Dory Fish.
Other than the usual crispy skin, this grilled version of Dory is much more on the smoky side, but still retaining the tenderness of the fish meat within. It comes with the special sauce like the butter garlic and also tartar sauce. The former is obviously more garlicky, but taste good with some buttery hint. When drenched on the grilled fillet and some squeezes of lemon juice, it helps to bring up the overall flavor. Rather than the usual companion which is rice, but mine is with their thick cut fries since the staff relates that the original pairing has ran out of stock. Guess I just have to be satisfied with this replacement then.

 Manhattan Flamming Seafood Platter is a perfect platter for sharing among friends and family. The platters comes with the fried calamari, fried fish fillet and oysters and together with their famous Manhattan Flamming Prawns which is being served on a bed of Garlic Herbs Rice and chips with scrumptious broccoli and scallops. The portion is a big one and it is freshly made and served too.
