managed to try all three flavours of the cruffins that are all custard-centred variants : lemon curd, salted caramel, & chocolate. Love the lemon curd and the chocolate the most. The chocolate one tasted especially good! Texture was very crispy and flaky but the custard can be abit too overwhelming if you don't like custard.  continue reading

Am not usually a fan of bread, but this place whips up some really tasty ones. Chocolate Bun. Stuffed with chocolate cream. Probably a good choice for kids. Corned beef with cheese puff. Excellent. Every bite was a sheer delight. Butter croissant. Had that very-freshly-baked taste that made it a treat. Tomato & basil sauce with baguette. The sauce was a bit too watery for us. continue reading

Situated at a small row of shop is The Bread Shop, in fact it was just next to Decanter, if you need directions. Although it's in the middle of nowhere, it's packed during lunch as the space is limited. We had to wait quite a while for a seat. Most of the patrons would take away their lunches but we chose to dine in that day. They have only a few selection of sandwiches which are mainly for the lunch crowd. And the rest are the amazingly fragrant pastry, being displayed nicely on the counter. I ordered a cup of cappuccino to go with my sandwich. The aroma of the cup of coffee is enough to make my mouth water. It is one of the best coffee I've ever tasted. The foam is just enough to go with the coffee. The richness of the coffee is so strong and leave a bitter aftertaste which lasted for sometime, which I didn't mind at all. I also had the peach danish and a chocolate roll which were both super delicious. They are very fresh as they were baked to sell. The danish was sweet and crispy while the chocolate roll was soft and sweet. The interior was tastefully done, it has a very cosy feeling and well decorated although the place is small. It's a great place to have tea (or coffee) or just to hangout. At the end of the day, we took away quite a few different types of pastries because they are really that good! continue reading
