This is a relatively new restaurant in SS3. Before this, the place was selling nasi lemak, hakka food then the barbeque house. I did not step into this place until it has confirmed the type of food it wants to sell. I ordered a plate of char siew rice, just want to be on the safe side. The char siew hanging on the display kitchen do look pretty nice and tasty. Well, the char siew was normal with the sweet sticky barbeque sauce. The butter rice was also not too bad. Unlike most chrysanthemum teas I find in other coffee shops which are mainly watered down and diluted to almost flavourless barring the sweetness only, the chrysanthemum tea here is surprisingly very good. It has a strong taste of boiled chrysanthemum mixed with herbs in the tea. The sweetness level was just nice with a good amount of ice which does not dilute the drink too much.

Along with its main course, the honey apple herbal tea is worth a mention too. This drink is best taken cold during a hot afternoon for its thirst quenching properties. This cup of drink was served chilled straight from the fridge. It contains a huge slice of apple, which is edible. The drink has an interesting blend of herbal tea with boiled apple sweetened with honey. Quite recommended to pair with their dishes.

The wan tan mee here consists of the noodles, slices of BBQ pork, 3 pieces of wantan served with Yao mak vegetables which is quite unusual. I like how the noodles were cooked, perfectly firm, al-dente. However I did not like the strong kan sui smell from the noodles. The BBQ pork were decent, with a blend of sweet and savoury taste. However, I still find it lacking of the caramelised flavour. The wantan was nicely packed with minced meat which is great considering so many wantan out there serves

Located in a friendly neighbourhood of SS3 is where the Tasty BBQ house is. I've never tried the food here before and I was feeling adventurous.I ordered the double roasted rice, in which I could choose 2 of either BBQ pork, roasted pork or roasted chicken. I chose the roasted pork + roasted chicken. The roasted chicken was quite oily, and not very delicious. The roasted pork was slightly better as its crust was crunchy, although i find the fat too much compared the it's leaner part. The rice wa

The rice was standard oily rice, cooked well with a nice balance of oil to the rice.
The dish comes with a bowl of old cucumber soup. It was a little laden with MSG but that was expected.
