Barely after 2 months dropping by at Takumi Japanese Fine Dining Restaurant for their sumptuous array of authentic cuisine, here am I again! For Sashimi and shabu shabu enthusiasts, this is the place to consider if you are yearning for some real good Angus and Wagyu beef, prepared in the most authentic way. It’s much more surprise that Johnnie, the restaurant manager, still remember this patron vividly, who came not long ago and cheekily ask, “Had enough of photos previously?” And I pertly replied to him, “I guess my Lumix doesn’t mind coming over and over again if the place could feed it with great food! Moreover, its strategic location at The Grand Millennium Hotel making it very noticeable in any foodie’s radar Kani Salad, a very delightful opening to any meal for the gardens salads are very fresh and crisp, crunchy Kyuri coupled with the moreish laces of King Crab, alongside its tangy sesame dressing.Oh by the way, the slices of Japanese cucumber provides a very clean and crisp taste that pairs well with any sashimi.Nigiri Sashimi then awes us with the splendid arrays of thickly cut fresh sashimi, served with pickled ginger, grated smooth wasabi, accompanied by its little mystical dry ice garnishment pot.Surprise doesn't end here yet as the en route Lobster Mentaiyaki arrives glazily alluring with the top of the grilled Boston lobster is layerd with lusciously baked mentaiko with cheese. The lobster meat is very juicy and chunky. Delicious! For fish lovers, Steamed Kawahagi offers a salubrious enjoyment of oceanic sweetnessCrunchy Chicken Katsu Curry Maki greets us with some nicely breaded chicken meat that is fried till golden brown, before topped off with some savory gravy.Next up is another significant highlight of the day, Shabu Shabu!Best eaten by just swiping the thinly sliced angus and wagyu beef in the hot soupfor about 20 seconds and then, tada, it is ready to be consumed. Tender and juicy is what you could expect from this quality meat alongside the flavourful soup base!Nicely carved bite-sized fruits as finishing note are sweet and citrusy refreshing as always! For more foodie pic rolls, feel free to drop byhttp://lwinlee.blogspot.com/2014/03/takumi-fine-dining-japanese-restaurant.htmlFor latest over-the-top epicurean updates, feel free to follow/like CarpeDiem.Till then, have many great days ahead and cheers folks! continue reading
