The day of food hunting, tho it was costly but its worth it. Thats what i like to do during my free time. So today we went to table talk at ttdi. The decorations was nice and cozy. I like the colour and all.So i ordered salmon sandwich (RM20) and 1 appetizer (RM18). As for drinks, i just order cinnamon tea (my fav). I don't want to eat so much because i would want to try some other shops as well.  The appetizer they put beef some cheese and veggie on top. It was delicious. We finished it in less than seconds i think . Then i tried my salmon sandwich. They did not grilled the salmon and they serve me with raw salmon instead. I'm so sorry to tell you that it was not good. The raw salmon with lack of seasoning is definitely a no go. I would prefer for it to be grilled so that it doesn't smell. Plus, it is not fresh.  We enjoyed the rest of our lunch time with the cinnamon tea. It taste as regular as i usually drink it. We keep on talking before we make a move. This place have a great environment but i'm not too sure about the food. Well maybe we ordered the wrong one. Overall: spacious, nice environment continue reading

I have never been to TTDI before so we decided to come here to catch up on each other's news after such a long time. I was surveying the restaurants and spotted this place called Table Talk and it happened to be opened till 10.30 pm. We both love duck so we ordered duck dishes. My friend ordered the Duck slices with a type of special flour wrap. There were slices of cucumbers and also onions as well as a koisin sauce. The ingredients were like peking duck except that the wraps were not paper thin and the duck were cut differently.I had the duck salad which is very tasty. I guess they probably used the same shredded duck but with salad and also baby tomatoes. The result is very delicious though it is easy to make. The duck has a tinge of saltiness inside. My friend ordered the iced mocha with a chocolate sauce on the sides. Very beautifully done. The place is also very romantic with candles on each table. There are also table setting for a more sophisticated dinner with the family. The ambience definitely suits the name, Table Talk. I particularly like the glass door with the unique painting of people dining. The owner must be very artistic as there were a lot of wonderful paintings everywhere. The bill for both of us was RM 54. Quite ok and more reasonable than other fancy commercialized places that does not come with tasty unique food.  continue reading

This breakfast is just a hair under RM20, all in. Fluffy, silky eggs stuffed with lots of goodness - sausages, tomatoes, and the works. Everything was cooked nicely - juicy and not bland. The bread was also of good quality - crisp and fresh. Orange juice was not sweet though, but I didn't feel like it was diluted (maybe it was, but no sugar added).Service staff couldn't speak proper English and I couldn't understand a word she was saying. continue reading

Have never been much of a fan of salads, but when I saw duck salad with sesame sauce dressing in the menu I had to order it (can't resist duck or sesame sauce, much less both of them together!). Definitely was not disappointed - the salad came with a generous amount of duck slices and the salad was tossed in just the right amount of dressing so it wasn't too overwhelming. It was the perfect salad for a non-salad eater like me. I also love spicy food, so I ordered the sambal seafood pasta out of curiosity. It was surprisingly good! I never thought sambal and pasta could ever go together, but I was proven wrong. Will definitely go back for that pasta again! continue reading

The restaurant could be quite secluded for those aren't familiar with TTDI but it is definitely a hidden gem of this upper-class neighborhood. Serving Asian fusion cuisine that blends Italian and American into the menu, you can be assured of a healthy, hearty meal. My fav here would definitely be the serving of air-fried fries. With that, it is no longer a sin to chomp on fries excessively. Besides air-frying their fries, they also use only olive oil, MSG-free and canned-free goods in all their cooking , a plus point in their healthy-food concept. Recently I dropped by for their breakfast sets that go for rm5.90/set - turkey ham & egg sandwich + a hot cup of coffee! Overall I think TableTalk is a great venue to dine in with your loved ones be it a whole family of 5 or just your bf/gf. The ambience is cozy while steering more towards a fine-dining setting. Still comfy if you ask me! continue reading
