After finished shopping in subang parade, we feel hungry and we would like to have some ice cream after the dinner. Therefore, we went to Swensen's.For our dinner, we ordered a pepperoni and cheese pizza to share. The portion is quite big and it's enough for 2 person. The pizza was very chessy and the skin is crispy. We like the taste. Then we order some ice cream as dessert and gone home. continue reading

I still remember back in those days when Swensens operated from kiosks an only sells ice-cream and nothing else. Well, those days are over. Nowadays they expanded and branched out into full-fledge Western Fusion Restaurants with delicious food and a really nice environment. I love this outlet. Located at Subang Parade, it's visible even from the main road. Try their Crayfish Noodle Soup, Chilli Crab Spaghetti, Teriyaki Chicken Spaghetti.. yums As for the ice-cream; the Banan Split's the No.1 winner continue reading

Swensen's located outside the Subang Parade. You must go outside to find it. Grill fish sambal, RM 21.90Grill fish, mashed potato, carrot, cauliflower, asparagus, corn and sambal. The sambal is a bit too spicy, but I like it. Carrot, cauliflower, asparagus and corn nicely season.Mashed potato just ok, nothing special.Fish perfectly cooked and seasoning. Juicy. Eat it with or without sambal.Recommended Curry chicken rice, RM 17.90Curry chicken baked rice topped with keropok.I don't like it, the worst curry I've ever eat.Canned curry taste better than this curry. Not recommended Cookies and cream, chocolate malted ice cream, RM 14.90Add on diced almond RM 1.50Both not sweet, nice and smooth. continue reading

our gang's gathering for the month of September~we had it at Swensen's, Subang Parade...to celebrate his birthday and also to try Swensen's food...Swensen's, Subang Parade looks very much better after the renovation...it was brighter, the colour contrast of white and red make the restaurant looks cleaner and more comfortable...very good for celebration i think... have you spotted the baby clam?yes! there were plenty of them in it...baby clams, diced potatoes, carrots, onions and celeries in creamy soup...served in a sour-dough bread bowl~this was yummy!hardly get a good clam chowder in the market now...and Swensen's have it... this was AWESOME! i love it!creamy mushroom soup served in sour-dough bread bowl~rich, creamy and goes really well with the bread...i'm craving of it now by looking at the picture... hmm... tasty!! highly recommended... grilled chicken thigh topped with slice of pineapple, cherry and BBQ sauce...served with fries and coleslaw~the chicken was tender and juicy...but it has too much BBQ sauce on it and made it tasted a little too sweet...not what i will pick from the menu again... fried breaded chicken baked with savoury rice and cheese in white sauce...very generous on the cheese...i took one bite of the rice...cooked to perfection and really cheesy~ not bad! curry chicken baked with savoury rice topped with keropok...i don't really like it as the curry tasted like canned curry...and the chicken tasted like frozen chicken...i will not recommend this item, but if you would like to give it a try...please do so~ who knows they might have some improvement... macaroni, mushrooms and onions baked with cheese and cream sauce...it was really tasty... i love the smaller macaroni...portioning of the cheese was just nice...i finished the whole dish~ if you love cheese like i do, pick this and you will love it too...grilled chicken thigh topped with Teriyaki sauce served with spaghetti and vegetables...the chicken was grilled to perfection, tender and juicy...but the overloaded Teriyaki sauce has spoilt the whole dish...too much on the sauce has made the spaghetti tasted too sweet...or else, it could be really delicious~spaghetti, fish fillet and mushrooms in Swensen's chef chili crab sauce...topped with fried soft shell crab...the soft shell crab was not really crispy and i think the chili crab sauce could be spicier...it will not be a good choice for those who takes chili with everything...but will be just nice for those who like less spicy food...we had a great night with good food and good companionship... continue reading

Ceasar salad, top with house specialty dressing. Slightly sourish and sweet, with raisins, and shrimps...Very healthy meal replacement I would say. Sometimes when you get tired of carbs, (rice, noodles, pasta) you can go for a lighter option! Which is salad! Cheese baked rice! I don't know why, friends around me , they love all sinful , fattening foods, but , they are not fat at all. I iz super jealous. i only eat salad but I weigh more than them! Why is this so unfair!!! according to my friend, she loves this very much. She say anything that comes with cheese is the best. Dessert time! Banan Split. Three scoops of ice cream with banana laid aside... Drizzle with lots of chocolate sauces... a sweet ending for me and my friend! continue reading
