I decided to meet my school classmate for dinner after she asked me out. She likes to eat Sweet Bean because according to her, the food is amazing and the ambience in a/c and quite ok. As for me, I was not really favourable on spending money in a cafe at RM 9-13 for a bowl of noodles. But I decided not to be so unaccommodating and agreed finally. She ordered the Hot Red Bean Glutinous Rice with Cold Soyabean Jelly. 这个红豆糖水熬煮到非常的绵密，吃起来还有沙沙的感觉，所以吃得出来这里的红豆糖水是经过精心的熬煮，一点都看不出一颗颗的红豆在糖水里面，不过份量只有很少的一碗，有点可惜

虽然这个芝麻汤圆只有很少的两颗，汤圆的外皮非常的又嚼劲，吃起来还蛮好咬而且一点都不软烂，里面的芝麻非常浓郁，吃进嘴巴里面那种芝麻的香味一直在嘴巴里面久久都散不开来

这个芝麻糊质非常的浓稠，一点都没有很稀释的感觉，味道真的是料好又实在，喝起来都是很浓郁很香浓的芝麻香味，味道也不会很甜，喝起来都是刚刚好，这里的甜品种类繁多，很不错

I had a second visit on this dessert shop and this time i try on with the peanuts paste and sesame glutinous ball combo set that cost me Rm4.80. The peanut paste is their homemade dessert as well and you can either eat it by dipping the glutinous ball or by itself alone. The glutinous ball that cooked in a hot ginger soup is nice . It comes with a smaller portion but you can try more of their desserts as it wont keep your stomach full.

I came across this shop selling desserts and meals for lunch and dinner. It is a very comfortable place with a cool environment. The service was good too. As I just had my dinner, I stop by here for a little of dessert. That was not much people inside maybe it was due to raining outside.I was no idea of what to had and than I noticed this dessert, the special combinations of hot and cold. It is a hot sesame soup combined with the cold Tofu fa (bean curd). Out of my expectation, this combinations

这家叫糖黏豆的店，当然一开始走进去是因为他们可爱的店名，况且我也不介意吃糖水，我点了个腐竹薏米，这是我喜欢的糖水之一，可是这家做的有点令人失望，因为少了那种原汁原味的感觉，反而吃得出是加了很多糖，所以只是有甜味。

This is a dessert place that also sell quite a variety of main courses. I ordered the wan tan mee with barbeque chicken. The wan tan mee was normal, the noodle was a bit too hard. I think it should be blanched longer. The soy sauce that mixed with the noodle was too salty. I like the barbeque chicke, they were quite tasty. The chicken was boneless and it was tender. Some green vegetables were also added on the noodle

This is one of the good place for me to enjoy the time. Because the environment here is not bad. Normally I will come here with a bunch of friends and each of us order one of the dessert and eat. Then we will sit here for hours and keep chatting unless the place is fully occupied then only we leave. I like their red bean here. The red bean is very smooth to eat. I like to eat it when it is served hot.

I was not impressed by the food I had previously tasted here (except the Herbal Porridge) but since it had the word 'sweet' in it's name, perhaps I should give the sweet food a try. This is their cold tofu with hot sesame soup. The combination of cold and hot was interesting but the bean curd did not stay cold for long. The black sesame soup was thick and sweet. Overall, it's pretty average.

This is the pomegranate in coconut milk from Sweet Bean. It's like Thai dessert red ruby.When my dessert comes, it's kind of shock, the bowl is full of red pomegtanate It looks beautiful. The cocount milk is really thick and nice. It is really match with this red pomegranate.This red pomegranate is crunchy. I quite like this dessert, really cool and doesn't taste too sweet for me. I almost can't finish up as it comes in quite a big bowl.

Dessert Craving? come to this shop then =)Sesame Paste with Sesame Glutinous rice ballsThe thick texture of the sesame paste is good, add with the sweetness within it, it is good for those who have sweet tooth. Adding combination with the Sesame Glutinous rice balls, the soup is good to warm yourself up. As what we see, it is really stomach filling with these two combinations, sweet and warm. Even the Glutinous rice balls isn't that sticky, it is nice to chew =)

The cute name of 糖黐豆 (sweet bean) signboard caught my attention each time i pass by SS2 for the past week. 糖黐豆 is a cantonese word which describe 2 person whom are very close and always get along together. The restaurant is cooling but bit too noisy when crowded.Beancurd Sheet with Barley (蛋花腐竹薏米) - This is cooked with the dried fu zhuk that boiled until its melted back to soy juice. The interior is cosy with a choice of booth seats or normal tables and chairs.This is the Meatballs (Beef) with Homemade Tomato Herb Sauce Spaghetti. The meatballs looked extremely dry but inside, they didn't taste that bad.. Just not juicy enough. Sweet Bean besides desserts and tong shui, they serve meals too.Set Lunch from RM8.90 - RM16.90 including a main course, jelly and a choice of ice lemon tea or tong shui. There are 6 choices of tong shui to be chosen.The jelly reminds me of my childhood time.
