I have been to a few shops that serve chilli pan mee such as Face to face Noodle House and Jojo Kitchen, but so far I think Super Kitchen Chilli Pan Mee serves the best chilli pan mee in town! One ingredient in Super Kitchen’s chilli pan mee that makes the dish stand out from the other chilli pan mee is that crispy ingredient that I don’t know of (sadly). I like how that crispy ingredient is giving texture to my egg noodles and the taste just makes you crave for more of it!

I prefer the dry chilli pan mee to the soup pan mee. They dry chilli pan mee comes with a bowl of anchovy soup with sweet leaf. As for the soup pan mee, the soup isn't the same soup they serve you with the dry chilli pan mee. Probably that is the reason why I prefer the dry chilli pan mee.

We were amazed at the ability of this chinese-originated Pan Mee in capturing the stomach of others such as Indian and Japanese(no kidding, they just sat next to me), other than Chinese itself.

Homemade Fried Dumpling (Sui Kow 水饺) RM6 (Small, 4 pieces)
Crispy deep fried dumpling of wanton skin that came with minced meat, carrot and yam bean.
Not too oily as something to munch on while waiting for the famous chili pan mee.

Customize the spiciness of Pan Mee according to one's preference and tolerance level.

Beat the running egg yolk, mix everything together and voila....

Egg yolk added the extra creamy texture to Pan Mee as if it just slipped down my throat. Add that with chili flakes that would escalate the spiciness in my taste bud. Not to mention crispy deep fried anchovies along with flavorful minced meat that were on their way deep down to my stomach.
It was indeed an eating pleasure with everything harmonizing inside the mouth.

The Pan Mee Soup has egg, veggies, mince pork and fried anchovies. The noodle is bouncy with QQ texture. As for side dish, I have ordered Meat Ball Fu Zhu Soup. Overall, I think the like pan mee very much, very delicious and the price is reasonable. They serve the food quite fast although the restaurant is packed with people

As a healthy sideline, this restaurant offers wok fried Kailan as well. For some reason, it took quite some time to arrive, long after the noodles have arrived. It was nicely arranged when it was served, which is very appealing. The vegetables are given a generous dash of deep fried onions and deep fried garlic. It is also given some soy sauce to mix with. The vegetables were very fresh, as it is crunchy. It tastes very clear, although there was some oil mixed into the vegetables. For RM8.00, it

As an addition sideline to the noodles, this restaurant offers fried pork meat as well. The pork meat is fried as a whole and then cut into slices for convenient of consumption. It is flavourful, but I find it a little too dry for my liking. However, with the dipping Thai chilli sauce, it makes the meat much more delectable. The crust of the pork was also quite crunchy. For RM12, it was enough to go around 6 of us for sharing.

The traditional Pan Mee here has no option but the soup version. It comes with sliced mushrooms, fried anchovies and minced pork along with a generous amount of leafs. The piping hot soup was flavourful and salted just nicely. Once some chilli is added in the soup, it gives a spicy edge to the dish. The thin noodles were cooked perfectly, without having any overcooked parts. As a conclusion, it is a decent bowl of Pan Mee for RM7.50.

The fish head mee hoon in Super Kitchen may not be their signature dish but curiosity got the better of me. Instead of the usual big piece of fish head that I would expect, this dish comes with its fish head separately sliced and fried. For RM7.50, it is a little more expensive than most noodles offered and not very worth it.

The Chilli Pan mee comes with runny egg, minced pork and fried anchovies. The instructions given by the restaurant was simple. Just add the given chilli flakes into the bowl. Proceed to mix and toss everything, including the runny egg. I added small portions of chilli flakes one teaspoon at a time, to ensure that I do not make the dish to be too spicy. The runny egg with the egg yolk mixed with the noodles ensures that the chilli sticks onto every strand of noodle. The noodles tasted very eggy, and together with the chilli and anchovies, they make a tasty and delicious meal. A bowl of soup with vegetables is also provided to quench some of the spiciness of the dish.
For RM6.00, it is quite expensive for Pan Mee, but still acceptable given the air conditioned restaurant.

For the side dish, I love their Thai sauce tofu. The sauce taste great with the crispy tofu. But, their meatball doesn't taste that great.

*I am not sure whether it's just me or not but I think their chilli pan mee in other branches doesn't taste as great as in this branch.
