这里除了有好喝的咖啡之外,还有非常好吃的面包。当初是抱着很饿想吃点东西的心态,点了过后服务员会亲切地问是否要加热。酥脆松软的酥皮因为加温而变得层层分明,每一口咬下去都能清楚吃到每一层都有着很实在的脆度。当然少不了哪有这微微烟熏香气味道的香肠。我对烟熏食品最没抵抗力了,哪能不爱上它呢?

自从偶尔不幸运地喝到品质监控不好的java chips,现在我已经改喝"成熟稳重"的dark mocha。为什么会这样说呢?因为我觉得这个能很切实地喝到咖啡香。不过星巴克的确实奶味比较重。可是当你快喝到底部的时候,哪多到让人惊喜的苦甜巧克力碎也许能让你精神振奋起来吧。

Caramel Macchiato is signature Starbucks beverage. It A creamy mix of vanilla and freshly steamed milk marked with intense espresso, topped with velvety foam and proprietary buttery caramel sauce.It is one of my favourite drinks in Starbucks. You may request add another shot in the Venti size drink for strong coffee lover. It because come to find out both the Grande and Venti have the same 2 shots of espresso and they just add more milk and sugar to the Venti size.

It is definitely a joyous moment to be cherished. However, the minty taste is not as strong as the mocha. Therefore, the beverage taste of chocolaty is much more apparent than the mint. And I always love to enjoy my blended coffee with whipped cream. The added chocolate syrup helps to bring up the aroma of mocha, which I think could be better if there were some crushed nuts as well, just my two cents anyway, haha…

It is essentially a light pastry filled with chocolate cream. Pastry was no doubt light and slightly crunchy, but I find it a bit too dry.The chocolate cream inside is smooth, silky and taste not too sweet whereas the chocolate on top of the pastry is sweeter. Having a bite together will offset the dry pastry texture.Overall I find this a ordinary dessert, nothing much to shout about.

Apparently, the dessert that I had here doesn’t stand on par with its famous coffee beverages. I personally find that the cheese cream on top of the cupcake was not that enjoying as I hardly tastes any cheesy aroma on it. The same goes for the minty flavor which was far away than mild, and wasn’t that decently chilled. Luckily, the chocolate cupcake beneath the cream was satisfactory. It’s soft, spongy and not that sweet either, which might explains why the chocolate taste was tad light as well.

It’s the Yuletide season again! What’s better than to kick start the mood with a cuppa of Toffe Nut Latte at Starbucks? It was a rainy night at Pavilllion KL and that’s why I decided to forgo Frappucino and had a warm version instead? ^^ As usual, the latte was smooth and aromatic to the palate. But it was my first time to enjoy the whipped cream in a hot beverage. It was nice still and coupled with some sprinkles of toffee crystals that just made up my night after a tiring day.

I believe that breakfast is the most important meal of the day and a good breakfast is the best way to start the day. Whenever I order the english muffin from Starbucks, I would add on a slice of cheddar cheese to go be toasted along with my sandwich. The cheddar cheese gives the sandwich a more enhanced taste and complements the chicken ham. I like the wholemeal bun that they use as it is healthy and there are seeds of different variety on top of it.

Whenever I find myself studying in Starbucks, I would get a piece of cinnamon roll and have it warmed up in the oven. The heat would melt the sugar glazing and the cinnamon powder to a gooey texture which is in turn soaked up by the bread. In order to enjoy this pastry, you have to eat it warm. This unique pastry from Starbucks is no longer available and is replaced by a walnut cinnamon pastry which does not match this in taste.

The chocolate tuxedo sounds grand and looks classy from the other side of the counter. A thin layer of chocolate coating clings onto the cake which gives it the resemblance of a tuxedo. The chocolate flakes on top tasted bland and I think this is because it was too dry to register on any of my palate. The cream mousse complements the chocolate cake but my favorite part is the chocolate film clinging onto the cake.

Once in awhile I would find myself grabbing a slice of cake and a mug of steaming coffee at Starbucks while reading my book. I had this slice of blueberry cheesecake with a steaming mug of coffee. The cheese blended well with the blueberry essence in the cake making it slightly sourish yet creamy. The blueberries on it is coated with a layer of syrup while the biscuit base is a little soggy from the moisture of the cake.

I was choosing my lunch when the aroma of this pastry coming out of the oven caught my attention. I enqired the barrister what was being served and they told me it is called tuna toastie. I got it instead. The aroma of baked tuna was very fragrant when baked in the microwave. Although the layer of tuna is thin but the fishy taste penetrates deep into the bread and chili slices makes it more savory.

I love the chocolate eclair from starbucks as it is one of the biggest I've ever eaten. The pastry is hollowed out and filled with chocolate cream and on top is a layer of frozen chocolate topping. The texture of the pastry is hollow or airy and it feels like biting into a layer of whipped cream and air. The chocolate was more sweet rather than the bittersweet type.

The picture above is one of Starbucks newest line of cakes for the summer promotion, it is cheese cake infused with coconut flavorings thus giving it a gelatin like texture. The coconut shavings were a little too dry but not crunchy like I thought it would be. The cake gave my throat a dry and parch sensation which I did not enjoyed. The darker parts of the cake has a coffee taste infused to it.

Once in a while my partner and I would get snacks from Starbucks for teatime. The picture above is the apple fritters which I rarely see them selling. Upon further checking with the staff, I was told that they do not restock it frequently as customers are turned off by the shape of the pastry.
